ASSISTANT RESEARCH SCIENTIST

Research Interest:
My research centers on exploring chemical weathering and sediment generation in basaltic terrains, both on Earth and Mars; ultimately tracking geochemical and mineralogical transformations from source-to-sink. ​
Themes:
  • Sedimentary geochemistry and mineralogy
  • Clay mineralogy and transformations
  • Planetary exploration and sedimentary history
Extracurricular:
Outside of his professional interest, Mike enjoys time with the family, especially chasing his little toddlers around, hiking, cooking, playing with his dog, and any/all sports.
